We are based in the Southwest, UK and will try to accommodate everyone’s deliveries.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ & UNDERSTOOD OUR DELIVERY POLICY BEFORE MAKING AN ORDER WITH US.
Our products will be delivered by ourselves or by our suppliers on behalf of Building Supplies & Solutions. Delivery will be made on site to the nearest drop off point, a suitable area, safe of obstruction and meeting our health and safety expectations.
Where delivery has been requested to site, we expect to be made aware of any access problems our drivers may endure, prior to delivery, so that we can strategies the conveyance safely and efficiently.
The carrier will not move the material(s) about your site. It is your job to provide appropriate equipment and/or manual labour after our product has been offloaded/ delivered. There is the option that one of our cranes can offload and aid delivery but this must be agreed at a suitable date before delivery takes place, to ensure we send sufficient vehicles to you.
The carrier may contact the customer by telephone prior to delivery, as they may like to confirm details and a delivery suitable for both parties.
Deliveries in the Southwest, UK, from Monday to Friday are between 07:30- 16:00, in this period you can expect your delivery at any time, unless a specified time has been agreed for the date of your delivery.
We expect the customer to be present on site when the delivery is made.
You are expected to check our products and sign for them to say you have done so before our departure from site/ or place of delivery.
If there are any damages present on any of the products or any other discrepancies, then you must report this on the POD (proof of delivery) at that time, failure to do so may result in no refund.
Do not accept damaged goods, as orders signed for as ‘unchecked’ will be seen to have been received in good condition. As soon as the goods have been delivered and the product has been signed for as suitable, the risk of damage or loss passes to you.
